I think the quilting bug has bitten. I finally finished a small lap quilt for Charlotte and I really love it. It has a very vintage/retro look to it.

It made with the American Jane range and backed it with fabric from the Peas and Carrots range which I also made the binding from because I am trying to use my stash up.

I quilted around each square and then also diagonally across them.

And just for good measure a couple of shots of the girls together

Lucy by herself, excuse the outfit but she has been home all day so is a mess. For a girl who used to hate hats she now puts them on all the time.

Cass I love the colours of your quilt - gorgeous.
Cute shot of the girls together - is Charlotte hugging or preparing to strangle Lucy!!
Ohhhhhh Cass! I am so proud of you! Look at Charlotte's quilt! It is stunning! Well done, see quilting isn't scarey after all!
Cass the quilt looks great! Love the fabrics too. Little Lucy look so much like you - a rely little cutie she is!
The quilt is beautiful. I was eyeing the American Jane charm pack and I think it looks really good sewn up.
If Lucy who won't wear hats before wears them all the time now, then there is hope for DD who won't have anything on her head!
I have been eyeing that fabric off for ages - it came out beautifully. And isn't Lucy just gorgeous - she and Charlotte are so sweet together. x
Great job Cass - that quilt looks fantastic!
Loving Charlotte's quilt, you'll have to make one for Lucy now!
That looks fantastic! Wow, is it just me , or is Charlotte just like her Dad, and Lucy is all you????
Yes Belinda Charlotte very much takes after Jeff's side and Lucy after my dad's side of the family. They are so different you wouldn't even think they were sisters LOL
What a lovely photos of the children and also a lovely quilt.
Kind regards

I love your quilt. I have never heard or seen American Jane fabric before. That would be a perfect play quilt for my girls. Great quilting job!
Yes, I'd be hooked after making that quilt too! It's gorgeous.
This quilt is stunning. In fact, I think it might be one of my all time favourites. The fabric choices, the simple piecing, and the quilting are all just perfect. Can you tell I love it? Just a bit!
