Amy Butler

Last night Ingrid and I, along with a lot of other crafty ladies (and we definitely need name tags with blogs on them) went to see Amy Butler at the Sofitel Wentworth. After champagne and canapes, which were very much needed after my traffic ordeal getting there, we all went in to hear Amy speak.
Amy was very interesting and down to earth and spoke about her designs, her processes and her inspiration. She showed a great slide show of her home, life, travels, new work space and more.
Afterwards she had books, patterns and fabric for sale and she did signings. I bought some fabric so had to get her to sign one of the free patterns we were given in our goodie bags.

It was a great night and a big thanks to Living Creatively for organising it.

P.S. Ingrid too these shots on my camera, thanks Ingrid
