I love tulips. My Mum planted both plain red and plain white ones in her garden so that they would flower for my wedding (many moons ago) and I remember the following year some came up all stripey like your pic... so very, very lovely. I really wanted to visit the Tesselaar Tulip Festival this year, but unfortunately have been too busy... maybe next year!

tulips are my favorite too! I just wish they were fragrant and my cat didn't eat them :)
I saw a few tulips when we called thru during the holidays........we also went to Red Cow Farm at Suttons Forest it was wonderful....
