Buy Nothing New Month
October is a busy month, not only is it Blogtober but the Salvos have also declared it Buy Nothing New Month (I also saw this mentioned on someone else's blog). I'm going to try and buy nothing new but surely they don't mean fabric, surely. The dollar so good it's going to be hard not to buy but I promise not to buy anything else new, ok well maybe promise is a bit of a strong word but I will try!

No hope of that here, got Oliver's birthday on Wednesday and he wants a scooter and a mutant insect DS game, yet to see either of them at an op shop!
Opps! I spent $60 on fabric this morning, I haven't brought any for agggggggges!
I know with the current exchange rate I couldn't pass up some shopping opportunities!
I was the same when I saw this advertised, I thought that's easy if you don't count fabric!
I think I can do that as long as I make sure to exclude all craft supplies. I'm trying so hard not to have a shopping spree on US fabric at the moment. I even filled up a shopping cart.... but shut it down.
I like it! Buy nothing new. It's a good habit to get into. We've already blown it, but it's only the third. I think we'll give it a try. Thanks.
Good luck with resisting the lure of the bargain US fabric purchase. Its soooo tempting at the moment!
