Book, Toy and Music Fair

Today I got up early to go to a local book, toy and music fair which is always very good. Sorry no telling where it is as I don't want too many more people there (although Ingrid you might have to come too next year). Even though it wasn't supposed to start until 8am I got there at 7.50 and there were already people looking. This is the type of sale where there are boxes everywhere and people are on their hands and knees rummaging through them. I heard one lady say she had found some Secret Seven books and contemplated jumping her for them but thought better of it.

It managed to get some great things including:

Mouse Trap, Game of Life and Cluedo Jnr.
Charlotte has already set Mouse Trap up and is enthralled. Jeff had spotted the Mouse trap game when he was dropping in some donations so I was determined to get it.

Golden Books
According to Jeff I have way too many now.

A Dr Suess Dictionary
(some of you may remember the French version I picked up here.) This was a lucky find as I happened to go back to a box I had already looked in and there it was.

A couple of other Dr Suess books
A swag of Dick Bruna

I haven't even looked at these yet to see what condition they are in I just saw them and grabbed them.

Another Debbie book
Again a lucky find in a box hidden under the table.

These Golden Magazines
(not really sure about these but the pictures looked great)

I also got a Fisher Price Tree House and horse for Lucy but I can't prise them away for a photo. So a very good day indeed!

Wow Cass! What a haul! Mousetrap! Cool! Sending Grace over to play! The Big Ball of String! I remember that one from when I was little. :)

Oh I love the Dick Bruna books. I had a Dick Bruna mobile when I was a child. We have mouse trap that we picked up at an op shop too :)

I love Dick Bruna books. I was lucky enough to meet him a few years back and he is a very sweet man.

The jackpot indeed. I can see why you want to keep it a bit quiet. Enjoy all your goodies.

Wow, that's a great haul. I love I wish that I had duck feet, I had it when I was a kid and it's such a great story, although I think it's kinda sad. And the Dick Bruna books, jealous! Let me know what you think of Blind Faith if you get around to reading it.

Good idea for keeping it quiet. Book sales are such gems these days. There is nothing better to me then rummaging through children's books. I spent a half hour at a thrift store today just looking at the kid books.
