I bought
this pattern recently and forgot all about it. Then I got a gorgeous parcel of fabric from
Pink Chalk (I'll do a post soon about the other things I bought) and it included some lovely linen so I decided to make the tunic for Charlotte. The pattern is great and I made it in a night, including my first ever sleeves but Charlotte won't wear it because it's too scratchy, she won't even try it back on so I can take a photo. I'm hoping a wash might help.

We went to Disney On Ice today which was great.

Don't forget the
draw you have until midnight

Love that tunic!
That tunic looks great! Pity Charlotte won't wear it now, but hopefully a couple of washes together with your other washing will help.
Tunic looks great! And looks like you had good seats for the Disney shebang.
I was admiring that pattern Cass! - I thought it would also be a great beach popover top for summer.
It looks great - I hope she changes her mind about it soon.
Great job with the sleeves!
I love the top, I hope that it softens up and you can get some action shots! I can't wait until miss C is old enough to take to these kind of events, looks just wonderful.
love love love that tunic! turned out really well. In this weather I'd just pop a long sleeved tee under..that will look great with jeans!
Corrie:)
Would Charlotte wear if over a long sleeve top or a skivy? It would be such a shame for her not to wear it, especially with those well sewn sleeves!!
That tunic is beautiful, have you been able to convince her to wear it yet?
The tunic is fantastic - love the linen.
Love that tunic in the linen. I hope she will wear it.
