I think things are going to be a little quiet on this blog for a while. Jeff has actually broken his heel bone. No operation and no plaster but no weight bearing for 10 weeks so needless to say I think I am going to be a little tied up on my holidays.
I've been feeling pretty down about it and haven't been doing any sewing although I had heaps to do. Hopefully I'll have some things to post about soon.
I did help
Amy out at Mathildas last weekend and I got some lovely goodies from her (one that I can't show you yet)

and
Sheridan bought me some fabric in Japan so it was fun to pick out my favourites.

I got these decorations from
Lisa but haven't had time to make them yet.

Lucy and Charlotte both had their Christmas concerts this week, Charlotte got a wonderful school report and there's only 3 days of school left, bring on the holidays.
Charlotte's class did that song from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang when they are the wind up toys

Oh no Cass! What a time of year to have a disaster like that on your hands. Good luck with it all.
Oh no, poor Jeff. Is it any concelation that it's cricket season? Hope he has a speedy recovery.

I just love that scene from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Hope the girls enjoy the last three days at school. Fi x
Cass, what he is going to do for all that time ?? You may just have to teach him to sew - or stuff, or turn out small loops....
Oh dear! I hope your hubby's foot feels better, DP did the same thing a couple of years ago. thankfully the cricket starts again this week ;)
Oh dear. Poor Jeff and poor you! With a husband that has a habit of ending up on crutches quite regularly, I understand your frustration.
We're always here if you're up for visiting, or vice versa.
By the way, I have been meaning to thank you again for those dresses. Emme has been getting so much wear out of them, and she always looks adorable in them. You're a gem to think of her.
Oh geez, poor Jeff, and poor you! I am so sorry, that's hard. I hope you can squeeze some crafting in - for sanity's sake!
Oh dear, your poor hubby, and poor you!
