It's a boy thing & a girl thing

It's been a while since I posted but hopefully quite a bit of sewing should be done now. This is a little pack I did up for a friend who has just had a baby. It comprises a softie, appliqued tshirt and singlet all packed in a drawstring bag.

I have also attempted a bag for myself (although I think Charlotte might claim it, if she sees it). Not 100% happy with it but fo my first attempt its ok. I just drew up the pattern myself. I had bought some wooden ring handles but they were too big as I probably cut it a bit small. I lined it and used a strong fusible interfacing between (not sure if that was right or not). Just need to put a clasp on it of some description.

I also wanted to say thanks to all my EB sewing pals, you have really inspired me with my sewing so a BIG THANK YOU to everyone.
