I actually love these. Adapted from the Easy Pants pattern using the material I got at the op shop the other day. I decided to put a chenille pocket on them as well. Charlotte decided to "model" these but excuse her tshirt as she has had a day at home with her "gar" (grandma) and did lots of craft.

The shorts look great. I think I am going to do the same and just cut down the easy pants pattern. The thought of doing it any other way just makes me sigh.

Don't think she will cut it in the supermodel stakes (too short). She is a great model once it's completed but won't try anything on beforehand especially if there are pins involved.
Ingrid - cutting down the pattern was easy. I actually just got another pair of her shorts so I could check the length measurement against where I should cut it and just put a mark on the pattern for next time.
