Paper

Ages ago I printed out the instructions for these but had never gotten around to making them. I am thinking up some craft ideas for Charlotte in the holidays and thought I would do a trial run of these. After some moments where I couldn't work out how to put the first five together it finally clicked and this is the result.

I used illustrations from vintage children's books. I love them so much and Charlotte was very impressed so I think we will make some more and hang them in her room.

And just because Charlotte has been hogging the blogging limelight a photo of Lucy. I can't believe how big she is getting. (Adds she is wearing those pink Bonds pants you sent)

I also have some gifts to show but as they haven't arrived at their destination yet so you will just have to be patient.

Also I will be having a MADE IT sale with prices reduced on the Maude and Rock Chick bags (just waiting for the prices to be adjusted, but if you are interested in either of these email me)

Hi Cass, I posted you a comment earlier, but for some reason it hasn't shown up. Anyway, the tissues I've used for my tissue huggers actually open at the top, not down the middle. I'm not sure where you can get those ones these days. Mine came in a pack of four from Red Dot for $2 (they're Kleenex). Your little girl is adorable!!!

I had not seen this patern for the paper globe yet. AWESOME! Yours is so good.. I love the idea of using the vintage story book pictures.

So ok.. I found the link to the pattern. THANK YOU! I really do not need any more projects, but this one looks too good to pass up.

OMG! The pants I sent were so small, they were meant to be 3/4 for her! Lucy is so cute. And I love the paper balls too.

What a terrific idea to use vintage books for this project! They look so effective - might have to add this to my ever increasing list of things to do....

The paper globes are so fun! We did a couple for Christmas, I think they would be great in a room.
