I consider myself very lucky as I have made some wonderful friends through craft. Some I have had the pleasure of meeting, some I catch up with often, some I have never met but I feel blessed that these women have come into my life.
A week or so ago I got an email about a sale at Belsize Square which of course I could not attend but I passed the details on to two lovely Melbourne ladies. The sale was last Saturday and Karen very kindly offered to buy me some fabrics while she was there. This involved me emailing my selection and of course a phone call at the shop. Funnily enough I was at Charlotte's soccer game and everyone on the sideline was giving me funny looks but it was great to have a fabric personal shopper.
Yesterday I received a large parcel from Karen containing these great fabrics.

Glad to be of assistance Cass!
I forgot to tell you - the lady at Belsize Square also said to thank you for sending me her way!!
Needless to say I had a nice time shoping for us both and she was pleased I came!
I consider myself very lucky to have actually meet YOU Cass! Wish we lived closer so we could go fabric shopping together! x
I have the same Donna Hay magazine.Lots of ideas for Jazynthe's 5th birthday party next year.
I played hockey all through my entire school years.Loved it!
I too am always thankful for my blogging friends. Everyone is so supportive and understands what fabric obsession is really like.
I so wish I could have gone with Karen too but I couldn't. She had some great bargains and so did you!
I was browsing through the Donna Hay magazine yesterday and was going to buy it before we left Borders but I got sidetracked (the kids!) and forgot. I will have to go back or drop by the newsagent to pick it up.
Ahh...fabric addiction...love it. :p Very, very few people in my IRL understand it. lol
